Bricks and the magic they make with them

27 Oct

This has been a multi-day story that Julia and I have both gathered pieces of.  It started with a tractor load of sand and cement, then came “a ton of bricks” as Julia says.  Watch and learn what can become of them.

Maybe not really a ton, but a lot of bricks

Everyone gets into the act.  Check our NamRaj (a.k.a. Babu – Nepali for Baby)

Stay tuned to see how this little project all turned out.

Uncle Ed signing off for now.

I am trying to figure out where the children are carrying the bricks to. Is that upstairs above the kitchen? and is the level 3 now? Is that a bridge connecting the big house?
Wish I was there to help you butter some bricks… Really enjoy your video!
    Keep filming!

Cara, You are exactly right. The bricks came up to level 3 above the new kitchen and there are now two skybridges connecting the 2nd and 3rd levels of both buildings. The 3rd floor of the original building connects to the “roof” of the new building and that is where the new sitting area is described in the “We really are working” video. The bricklayer could probably have used your help buttering. Didn’t it all turn out wonderfully? Thanks for writing, Uncle Ed

Thanks for the reply, Uncle Ed. Can’t wait to see all the new construction. Everything looks great. You guys are doing amazing work there at Kopila. I hope you have a great thanksgiving day.
Say hello to Libby, Tope and the whole family from me… The Kopila Valley gang is on my list of things I am grateful for.
Keep up the great work! Cara Valentino

Appreciating the time and effort you put into your website and in depth information you offer. It’s great to come across a blog every once in a while that isn’t the same unwanted rehashed information. Excellent read! I’ve bookmarked your site and I’m including your RSS feeds to my Google account.
